XP UPGRADE

I am trying to upgrade to XP Home from ME but i am unable
to do this because XP upgrade is telling me i have two
opperating systems on my PC. Any help on resolving this
would be great.

Do you have two operating systems on your computer? Did you upgrade to ME
and leave an older version installed? If so uninstall the other system.

I am not sure any idea how I can try and uninstall one of

the opperating systems. Notthing in add remove programs.

How are you trying to do the upgrade? You should be booting your ME,
running the XP CD from it and taking Install - Upgrade

If your ME already has a dual boot (with say an old win95) then you
might need to remove that first. To do so, make a copy of config.sys,
and then delete it.
