xp unable to recognize the partitions

iam using gigabyte motherboard,sata 320gb hard disk,first i installed xp sp2
on one partition,later i installed vista on anthoer partition.when ever i
want reinstall the xp it is unable detect the all partitions my entire hard
disk showing as a one.vista is able to detect all partitionspls solve this
problem.
