XP thinks there are 2 OS

I have installed XP but every time i boot it asks whether
i wanyt load XP or windows.

The computer did have 98 on it before but i formatted. i
believe it may still have the dos partitiion for 98

How can i stop this happening and let it go straight into
XP?

Go to Start > Run and type in: MSCONFIG , and hit enter,
Click the BOOT.INI tab.
Next, click "Check All Boot Paths".
This procedure should correct your BOOT.INI file.
