XP: stop: 0x0000009B

brand new machine w XP
installed mcafee & it updated its dat files..allok
chnaged the workgroup nameto match the other computers at
home via the wizard? and it required me to disable the
wirelsss networking device (we're on landline) to comkelte
the process.
at thi spoint the machine was visible by the oterhs &
vioce versa but "to make the changes permanent" you have
to reboot
that's when i got the stop screen & memory dump after
Mcafee ran
no kb articles on this stop message
can anyone help?
