xp start up

Hi folks
I have this problem with my computer that has just
started. Every now and then when I start the machine it
shows the message "non system disk" (or something very
similar)press any key to continue. If I hit reset
it "normally" starts ok. I also seem to remember that I
also get a double bleep from the machine. Can you
help .malcolm

check if you have a disk in your drive A and check in bios if your boot
sequence don'tpoint to drive A: first
