Charlie

I had my computer updated and XP is installed on my labtop.

On startup in dos a red flag appears saying,

"save to disc file not found
save to disc feature is disabled
Run Pddisc form , File crate new
hit any key to exit"
"
Why this happened ?

After that, everything is running smoothly, and the XP is fully
started, and I am already in ?? I mean I do not even to log in to give
my user name and pwd. Is that the new feature ?

Hi Charlie,

Does the error occur before or after WinXP begins to load? If before, then
it's a BIOS setting that is incorrect.

You probably have not created a user account yet, once you do a logon screen
will prompt you at boot. This too can be removed if you desire. Right now
you are probably autologging on as a default user.
