xp standby problem

I am using xp home and lately whenever I want to put the computer on standby
it goes to standby for a couple of minutes and then starts back up. Never
had this problem before. Any suggestions

Thanks for the repy Rich. I have been out of town and this is the first
chance I have had to check my post. I followed you suggestion and visited
that website. Could not find anything to help me in my standby problem. If
you have any other suggestions I would appreciate them.
