XP SP3 upgrade

I upgraded my xp home with SP3. Now I can't access shared folders on my home
network. I use a linksys router. I get a security alert message "Your curent
security settings do not allow this action". I disabled firewall and set the
browser security settings to the minimum to no avail. Anyone have any ideas.

Possible but not likely.
The members of the Technical Beta have their own private newsgroup for
discussion of related issues.

SP3 is apparently now available on Technet and MSDN....

Remove SP3 because it is not a final product. Surely when you
downloaded it you saw that it said RC1 or beta?

True, but it was suggested the OP was a Beta tester.

The OP didn't mention anything about being a beta tester. Seems the OP
didn't realize it was not a final release.

Read the whole thread, particularly the post from xxx, the one I
responded.
I never suggested the OP was a Beta tester that was xxx idea.
I said "Possible but not likely.".

I did read all the threads. xxx, for whatever reason, stated this but
from the tone of the OPs question, it wasn't hard to deduce that he
was not a beta tester.

If he's an official beta tester or an MSDN/TechNET subscriber, he knows
where to get support. (Hint: It's not in a public newsgroup.)

To non-beta testers > Please do not think you are going to increase the
functionality of your unit or anything else in a positive manner by trying
any package that is not, at least, a RC or RTM item; you are taking a leap
of faith in this regard and the leap can be hazzardous.
