XP SP3 slipstream breaks activation keys

So I took and made a slipstream CD of Windows XP SP3 into our open license
installation media. I've done this with SP1 and SP2 since it takes a while
to get the XP+SP install media sometimes. Well this time I went to do a test
install with ym new shiny XP+SP3 Slipstream CD and made it all the way to the
point where I put in my activation key during setup.

All 3 of our different volume license keys no longer work with the media
now. I can install SP3 on a machine running windows with our keys on it, but
I can no longer do a fresh install with this media.

Thought I would post this here since I didn't know where else to report it.

Worked with my VLK licensed copy.

- How did you integrate it?
- What level CD did you start with?
- Sure you have the FINAL SP3 and not RCx?

SP3 won't install onto XP Gold - it requires at least SP1 be installed.
Is it possible that you need to slipstream it into an SP1 or better CD?

Did you do the slipstreaming from a Vista machine? This is a known problem
with building the slipstream disk on a Vista machine.
