XP SP2 Logon/LogOff Loop

I get the welcome screen but when I have tried to logon, the system run the
setup and then it goes to logoff. The welcome screen shows me two options:
administrator an other user, but anyone allows to get the desktop screen and
come back to the welcome screen. I tried to fix this trouble trough the safe
mode but it didn´t work. How Could I fix this trouble?. Thanks

This sounds like one of two things; the drive letter has change from
original install, or the drive permissions have changed.

Have you recently removed any malware? If so see this link:
