after installing xp sp2, whenever I go to a web page
using internet explorer I receive a prompt that the site
is trying to access a page through the INTRANET Trusted
site. How do I turn off this prompt?

Hi,

Are you sure you want to turn off that warning? It means the page is trying
to use elevated priviledges assigned to internal trusted sites to possibly
run code on your machine. This may not be a good thing, as that code and
introduce all sorts of bugs into your system. If you trust the site, add it
to the trusted zone in the control panel/internet options/security tab.

Thanks. I get it, the prompt is letting me know that if
it's okay to add this as a trusted site and all will be
okay in the future. If it's not a site I want to trust I
handle the prompt accordingly. Good security.

This happened even on sites like Google and New York
Times.
