Installed SP2 on XP Home at the weekend. Since then we
have had problems opening any graphic files in Adobe
Illustrator and a photo viewing program (very very slow
to open - task manager marked Illustrator as not
responding). Admittedly this was over the network, but as
a tester I put a native Illustrator file on the problemed
PC - this 120kb file took 3 mins to open. Any answers??
Also the print dialog box takes a lot longer to open than
before SP2, and when 'print' is clicked it sits there for
about 30 secs before it sends to the printer.
I understand SP2 is mean't to be more secure but is it
mean't to slow things down this much. Help anyone??
