We have multiple Dell Latitude D800s. After installing
SP2 for XP suspend and resume are not functioning. We
cannot succesfully resume from a suspend. Is this a
known issue? What are the work-arounds? Surely suspend
and resume functionlity was tested?

Thanks in advance!

This is almost always an issue with drivers. Check your device manufacturer
websites for the latest XP drivers, especially for the graphics card and
soundcard. If you have the latest drivers, try removing them and
reinstalling starting with the graphics card and soundcard as one of those
are the most likely culprit.

Yes, I've seen the same thing with my Presario 2500. I've installed the
latest ATI drivers from the HP Web site, and flashed with HP's latest BIOS,
to no avail.

I have the same problem and it seems to have started when (having left
something running overnight) I found "the blue screen" implicating
nv4_disp.dll so from the Control Panel, System (h/w tab), Device Mgr, Display
Adaptors, NVIDIA (Driver tab), I used the hardware update wizard which said
it had installed software for NVIDIA GeForce4 440 Go (Microsoft Corp) and
needed to reboot so I now have Nvidia v5.6.7.3 07/04/2004.
I tried that again today but Wizard says it couldn't find a better match
for the hardware.

Would it help if i rolled back to the previous driver ? Persumably though
I'd get the blue screen again ? so would be no better off ?

Help !?
