When I try to download the XP SERVICE PACK 2 I receive the error message
HKCR/DXDiagProvider to file C:/Windows/NTSERVICE. What does this mean and
how can I fix it?

I also ran registry fix and it says I have 62 problems,all in file
associations. When I click on repair problem it does not fix it. it comes up
missing file associations.
How do I fix this?

For SP2 order the free CD from MS:

Order Windows XP Service Pack 2 on CD

For the second issue, what registry fix are you talking about? In
general registry cleaners can cause more problems than they fix. Don't
use them.
