On my home PC I have a problem, at times, when I try to
shutdown. I get a message window inidcating that a
program (?) or task called DEVDLR is still running. I
wait until the "End Task" bar completes but I get a
message that the program is not responding. I then have
to initiate CTRL+ALT+DELETE to activate task manager and
end the program that way. It can take up to two or three
minutes for the system to shutdown or sometimes I have to
turn the power off.....not good. Can anyone please help ?
Thanks for your time.

Gary i've had a search around and it appears that the
problem lies with your soundblaster live sound card. Do
you have the latest drivers for it? Check creatives site
to see if there is an updated driver available. From the
information i have been looking at once the driver has
been updated it should cure the problem. You might also
go to the windows update site to see if an updated driver
is available from there.

Hope this helps
