I downloaded the service pack and all was well until it started to install.
About
halfway thru the intallation, it said cannnot find "msdart.dll so it
stopped installing Any idea what that is!!???
I said OK and the message kept popping up. The only thing to do is control ,
alt , delete to stop it all. I then had to go back and back up my info up
to the itime before I downloaded this !! I am afraid to install this and have
turned off my Automatic Updates until this Serivce pack is right!!! The only
thing I did not do is disable Norton.. Any ideas about this "dll" or what!!!!
Would I be better off using the CD then the internet to install!!! Or wait
until all the bugs are out !!!

Hi,

when u got the message that the file could not be found, did u get a message asking if u want to abort or ignore it.

if u had clicked ignore then the setup would have proceeded. this happened in the backup of the system files and it was asking for the original files.

And i experienced this on one of the computers recently and after clicking ignoring i got the message asking if i wanted setup to proceed without this and i said yes and then the setup of Service Pack 2 completed.

No . Never got this message!!! Wish I had. I clicked OK and I did but the
message would never go away. It stayed there and would not continue
installing. Thanks for your response,. I will wait to get the CD then try
again!!!
