XP SERVICE PACK 2

I have installed service pack 2 on my computer in order to update my norton
subscription. Now I have no internet access through Explorer. Does anyone
know how I can solve this problem. I'm not the brightest when it comes to
computer jargon so go easy on me

Take the machine to a local, reputable and independent (i.e., not
BigBoxStoreUSA) computer repair shop.

What happens if you COMPLETELY uninstall anything Norton/Symantec?

Installing SP-2 is a good thing, installing anything Norton is often
bad.

Is there an icon on your desktop called, "My Computer"? Can you right-click your mouse on it?

Mouse down to select Properties and you should have a window called, System Properties.
Press the "Hardware" tab.
Now the "Device Manager" button. An items with a yellow question mark?

Question: what Norton product is this?

Write back and we'll try to save you service call.

Did you install SP2 in normal mode? I did this when SP2 came out and had the
same problem. E-mailed Symantec and was told to install SP2 in Safe Mode and
that worked.

God Bless... :)
