XP remote access function

Does the remote access function of Windows XP Pro work
like PC Anywhere 11.0? In other words, does XP have the
complete ability to run programs/print/delete/modify
file,etc, and otherwise fully operate/reboot/etc a host
computer from a remote site?

Which is functionally better and why?

My choice seems to be between having to buy more upgrades
to XP (which cant be done to some of my older machines),
or buy PC Anywhere 11.0 for the XP machines (which is
supposed to be able to function seemlessly with older
versions of PCAnywhere that are compatible with Win 98se.

I am concerned about compatibility issues and functional
capabilities due to Fat 32 file systems remotely working
PCs with NTFS file systems.

Yep...

I can't tell you which is better, though... PC Anywhere offers a few
additional features that RD does not, though...
