xp reinstall issue

I reinstalled XP from my product recovery cd and now my animation software
isnt working as efficiently as it did before.Its very slow.Was the
reinstalling of XP the cause?.Someone please help!
 
Do you have the animation software on a disk so that you can try going
to Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs and
remove and then reinstall it?
