Just a question, I have just recently purchased windows
XP home edition and I was reading that you can only
activate it once. If I have a hard drive failure and need
to reinstall will I have to activate windows again? If
so will it allow me to.

Thanks

Julia

If you reinstall it on the same computer with the same hardware (or very
close to it) you will not have to activate XP again.

Julia;
You can activate Windows XP an unlimited # of times on the same
computer.
You can install a single license on only one computer at a time.
You will have no problem activating again.

Mike;
Activation will still be necessary, there just will not be a problem.
