Can someone please help,
Windows xp boots up,GOES PAST THE WELCOME SCREEN ,BUT TO A BLANK
SCREEN,WITH NO TASKBAR,AND NO ICONS AT ALL.I HAVE TRIED IN SAFE MODE TO
NO AVAIL.

Does the same thing happen in Safe Mode? If not, use System Restore in
Safe Mode. Or you may need to use System Restore from Safe Mode *with a
command prompt*. See:
