I have an XP Pro machine that acts like passwords haven't been saved,
even though I save the passwords using User Accounts/Advanced
Tab/Manage Passwords. When a program tries to access the network
folder I have a password saved for, a prompt still appears, asking the
user to enter the password information.
I have the path/passwords saved in the following format in manage
passwords...
\\IPaddress\share
IPAddressPCName\Username
and the application accesses the folder via the \\IPaddress\share
format, but yet it prompts for a password every time.
Is there a registry entry or some file I could edit to enter the
password information? This application works on 99% of my machines,
but I have a few problem machines that don't remember the passwords.
Thank you,
