XP Pro Thinks it is Tablet PC Edition

Forgive the Repost...

I have Windows XP Professional, I am trying to install it
on a Toshiba Notebook (A10)
The Hologrammed Disk I have says XP Professional.
The License Sticker says XP Professional. (And the #
works)
During the Install the screen references Xp Professional.
The Same Disk has been used to Install XP Pro on a
Desktop (unique License used).

But, when all is said and done, the notebook OS is
branded as Xp Tablet PC Edition.

Wierd isn't it?

a) Should this be possible?
b) Will I be missing features of XP Pro if I continue
with this Installation?

That "shouldnt" be possible. To install TabletPC you need a second CD
common known as Windows XP Professional CD 2 or MCE/Tablet PC. If for some
reason if is TabletPC you are not missing anything, you gain more (Tablet
Functions). You might try posting your question in the TabletPC Newsgroup
to see what the real experts think.

If you go
Start
Control Panel
System
General tab
Does it actually say "Tablet" in the description of your O/S?

My guess - being a Toshiba machine - is that Toshiba are sending out the
same base CD with Tablet and regular machines, and only including the
second CD with the tablet ones. So the name .Tablet' appears, even
though all that has been installed is regular XP Pro
