XP Pro SP2 setup doesn't find some files on CD

I'm trying to upgrade from XP Home to XP Pro SP2 on a new Toshiba A75
laptop.

XP Pro installed, but now that I want to add IIS the add/remove components
process can't find this file:

STAXMEM.DL_

I can click browse and see the file on the CD, select it, and tell Setup to
continue, but Setup doesn't accept that as the file it's looking for.

I'm using the same CD I used to install. If I try to continue without
installing that file, it repeats this for the next file (can't see it), etc.

Help!

Add IIS from the XP Installation CD ROM and then upgrade to SP2.

Do not try to install IIS after upgrading to SP2.

If you have installed SP2, then uninstall it and start over.

Ow!

Unfortunately, I bought XP with SP2 included so your option wasn't open. On
closer inspection I saw that the files in question were already present in
/system32 so I cancel/skipped copying all those files, one at a time, what a
pain!

However, IIS registered and now works fine!

I have no idea how this happened or how Msft let this slip through QA. It
seems like there are a lot of problems with SP2...

I had this problem. Microsoft site describes, problem 'here'

After performing this operation, my IIS has installed, however it did
ask me for my orignal CD, and not the one with SP2 packaged into it.

Meh

Hope you find this of use.
