XP Pro log on

[ripoff]

When logging onto XP Pro, after entering the user name and password, a
dialog box states "user environment, windows cannot load a users profile but
has logged you on with the default profile for you on this system" then
another box appears "detail - a required privilege is not held by the
client" the system then reboots after a 30 second countdown.

I have tried under safemode and with the admin password without any success.
Could this be a virus?
