XP Pro license question

I beta-tested XP Pro and received 5 licenses back when the OS was released.
Over the last few years I have purchased two machines with XP Home on them
and changed them to XP Pro. In addition, I have three other machines that
contained the other licenses, and am retiring a couple of them and want to
transfer the licenses to new machines.

Is there any way to un-license all of my machines and then re-activate them
from scratch?

THANKS for any help!

Was there any special EULA terms associated with the licenses that prohibit
moving XP to another PC? If not then start by moving just one license to a
new PC, activate the product and see what happens.

No. I can install them on five machines as long as I don't install them on
more than 5 machines.

So - what is your question all about? heh
As long as you follow the guidelines of your EULA - you can
remove/install/activate as often as you like on up to 5 machines then...

There is no deactivation of "unlicensing". Assuming the license states it
is transferable, uninstall from one machine and install on another. It will
require activation which will either go through via internet or you'll need
to make a phone call.

Thank you all. I had wondered if it was possible to call them, deactivate
any computers asssociated with those numbers, and then re-activate. Doing
them all individiuallly will be fine.
