XP Pro hangs on Boot

XP Pro hangs on boot-up, while the XP logo and busy-bar
are still on screen.
In Safe Mode it appears to stop while trying to load
IOMDISK.SYS (the driver for IOMEGA zip drive, I think).
Even booting from XP Master CD to run System Recovery
still hangs at same point (weird? - I wouldn't have
thought it would be referencing anything in the box?).
Any suggestions?

You could try connecting the zip drive then booting. If that boots,
then remove the drive and Iomega software, or update the Iomega software
from www.iomega.com. Have you made any changes in BIOS setup recently?
