XP Pro fresh install with dual hard drives

I have win 2k installed on my main hard drive and I have another slave hard
drive. I want to upgrade to win xp pro. I did a fresh install by putting the
cd in win 2k and continuing. It installed and put win xp on my slave hard
disk and set up a dual boot system. I thought I was getting a fresh install
and it would remove all win 2k refrences and OS. how do i install xp on my
main disk as the only os. Can i do this without formatting from dos and all
that stuff?

Well, first reformat the slave wiping off xp,then install
xp cd,restart computer,boot to cd,choose recover,press
the enter key if prompted for password, type:
FORMAT C: /FS:ntfs
When its thru,type:EXIT
Reboot to xp cd,install, actually you could wipe off the
old xp install in recovery too, just change the letter,if
you need help,type:FORMAT /?
