I have gone from 6 Gig FREE (20 Gig drive) to 0 in less than a day! Only
using VS.NET for some VB.NET development. Two days ago this happened, I
deleted a bunch of old files, then ran CHKDSK, with cleanup. I was showing
the 6 Gig. Now, nothing.

?????????????

TIA,

Hi Larry,

Refer section "Hard Disk - Cleaning" here:
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_h.htm

Use DiskPie2 utility to see which folder in the hard disk is taking up the
space. Goto that folder and delete the unwanted files.

Additionally, use Disk Cleanup and purge all system restore points except
the last point. Click Start/Run/Cleanmgr / More Options / system restore
/cleanup.

Did you ever run "bootvis". Not suggesting you do! In fact, I suggest you
don't!
