Restore points disappear

In recent times I've noticed that System Restore only seems to be able to
retain 5-6 restore points at the most.
It then deletes them all. Even the last is deleted leaving me with none
should I need it.

I have 4578mb (12%) reserved for System Restore with 18.9 gig of disc space
free.
This is on a Toshiba Satellite laptop running XP Pro sp2 with a 40 gig hard
disk.

Wondering if this may have been triggered by using the up disc cleanup
utility to delete all but the last restore point some time ago.


Any help appreciated.

Hi Linz,

In particular, take a look at this page. Once the server comes back up,
it's down right now!
