xp-pro back to xp

What do I have to do to remove xp-pro and go back to xp on my portable. I
have xp-pro on trial basis and decided it is not what I wanted and would
like to change back.

It depends on what type of installation disk you had and whether you selected
to backup your old operating system when you installed XP Pro.

If you did then it is as simple as Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs

In there you will have an entry for Windows Xp professional (or similar).
Select this and click on Remove/Uninstall.

If this is not an option then it is likely that you will have to back up and
install from scratch
