xp password

I recently re-set my password on my internet contnent -
settings. However, While I typed in the password 2
times, I cannot get the system to accept the password
again. this is causing my system to not allow anyone
access to any internet sites as it was set to the most
restricted setting. Please help me figure out how to get
rid of this password, or see what I may have mistyped two
times
