XP; Outlook 2002 and Voter Tracking Tab issue

Our company has recently upgraded from Windows NT to
Windows XP. We are using Outlook 2002, with the SP-2
patch. We use voting buttons extensively and then track
who has voted, using the tracking tab (the yellow bar
acrossthe message.)

Since we have upgraded, we are having trouble with the
tracking tab. Sometimes it works; sometimes it doesn't.
We found that if people have selected MS Word as their
editor then sometimes when they vote, the vote message
does not get sent to the original sender (or maybe that
was coincidental, and MS Word has nothing to do with
it.) We thought that was our entire problem, but we are
still having issues with the tracking tab not working. A
tracking tab that worked yesterday no longer works today,
so I do not know how many people have yet to respond to
my voting message.

It would be greatly appreciated if anybody can help me
with this problem. At this time we have to manually
update the roster of who has responded to the voting e-
mail and this system is supposed to be AUTOMATIC!!!

I should have said that we are using Microsoft Exchange
Server for Outlook, in case that makes a difference as to
why we are having this problem.
Thank you.
