XP Opening Problem

Hi,

When I start my PC it will not show the desktop screen. I just get a blank
screen. There are things running because you can see them via Task Manager.
Each time I open I get the message 'This application has failed to start
because BROWSEUI.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix
this problem'. Can anyone point me in the right direction.
 
Have you check your system for Virus / Spyware if you you might have to try
running a repair on the OS with your WINDOWS CD.
