XP on PATA and XP64 on SATA

Hi all,

I have installed XP on an ATA drive and am looking to install XP 64 on a
SATA drive. The problem is that it boots correctly from the XP 64 CD setup,
copies all the files, reboots, but it fails to continue the setup.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Most SATA drives require a "boot" driver to be installed, during the initial
set up.
