Hi All
I did some changes to system registry and aslo deleted some user accounts
without backup or restore, now when I am trying to restart the computer it
does not show any user account and just show windows XP sign, which doesn't
allow be to log in into the system. I tried everything from F8 but didn't
work. I can restore with F10 but then I will lose everything I have, which I
don't want to lose, any help?

It seems most likely that whatever changes you made to the registry rendered
the system unbootable. You should leave the registry alone becuase it is
neither fail safe nor fault tolerant.

There is an article in Help & Support that discussed how to restore the
registry to a workable state.

Thanks Jim

I saw that registry key help but it say do not try if you have pre-installed
software, and unfortunately I have pre-installed software. One question I
want to ask if if I use Windows XP CD for bootup will it help me to save my
data? or I will lose it anyway?
