I have several accounts on one Windows XP Home compter. Some of them have
internet access all the time (I'm able to use this one to post this message).
Some of them cannot connect.
SP2 installed. DLink Router. Cable modem. McAfee VirusScan.
If I create an account, I have access for a limited time. If I log off or
switch users then come back, I cannot load pages in IE 6 (or do other
internet stuff). If I ping the router in any account, I get responses back
so I have access to the router.
Other computers (Windows 98) are connected to the router and have internet
access. (Internet connection sharing is not in use.)
Any help would be appreciated.
