xp networking to me

my ME is connected to internet(DSL), my XP is wireless and recognizes the ME
but I dont have access? What do I need to do in the ME to allow access?
Thanks for any help, i have been working on this off and on for a couple of
days and still no luck.... also I am computer stupid...

For starters make sure that you have identical user names and passwords
setup on each machine (User Accounts). Then take a look here:
