XP Networking Bug?!

Ryan Ford

This morning I upgraded an Access 2000 database on a
Windows XP Professional system. In the shared My
Documents folder, I renamed the old database, then copied
the new database to the folder and imported the tables
from the old one. Database worked fine, but 3 other
computers on small network could not access the new db
from their shortcuts, despite it having the same file
name. I instructed client to browse network, and only
the old database was visible in the shared my documents
folder across the network. I instructed client to cut
database from shared my documents folder to shared
Desktop. At that point the Access 2000 database became
visible on the network, and they were able to create new
shortcuts. I don't want the DB on the Desktop, but it
isn't visible inside My Documents. Any ideas?
