XP/ME Dual Boot File Systems

I have a fully functioning, no problem dual boot install
of XP and ME. ME was installed first on drive D
(partitioned), XP followed on drive C (partitioned).
Both drives are using FAT32. I would like to run my XP
partition using NTFS but it is also the boot partition.
Can I convert my C partition to NTFS and still utilize ME
with the dual boot?

If you convert drive C: to NTFS then you will lose your
ability to boot into WinME. You have two options:

- Keep drive C: as a FAT32 partition, or
- Convert drive C: to NTFS, use a third-party boot loader
and re-install WinME from scratch.

That confirms my suspicions, thanks. I'll just leave it
as is, especially since it isn't my machine, I'm setting
it up for a friend. For him, the simpler the better.
