I have a new pc with the latest windows xp home edition on it, with all the
latest service packs and critical updates and it keeps wanting me to select
a user when i turn it on. there are three user accounts, owner, ASP.net ?,
and guest, its set to use welcome screen and no passwords are set anywhere.
How do i get it to not want me to click on a user to logon, the only user it
shows on the welcome screen is owner???

Start > Run and type in

control userpasswords2

There you will be able to choose the account to login.
