XP Keeps resetting my OE Store Folder location!!

Whenever I boot Windows XP, the Outlook Express store location has been
changed and I have to pop into the registry and put it back.

The "Store Root" Expandable String Value is store at:
My
Computer\HKCU\Identities\{72FD907F-AB5A-49CC-BB54-7A410B12093F}\Software\Mic
rosoft\Outlook Express\5.0

....and by default contains:
%UserProfile%\Local Settings\Application
Data\Identities\{72FD907F-AB5A-49CC-BB54-7A410B12093F}\Microsoft\Outlook
Express\

....yes I want it to say "O:\Email"

WHY WON'T IT STAY????

Except that it won't let me choose a network drive... I have a gigabit LAN,
why can't I use a remote drive???

Thanks for the help though.

Always helps.... OE is only for newsgroups. Email is handled by Outlook 2K3.

I used to have no problem running OE with my files stored on a network
drive, but that was a while ago and I don't recall if it was under WinXP or
Win2K... Also, I may have had a registry import that happened at every boot.
(I have one right now to ensure my IE Favorites stay mapped to a network
drive.

I'll be digging deeper into these links later.

Take care!
