XP installed, need to install XP again and keep data on second partiton intact

Hi,

I moved all my data to a second partition. I need to format the first
partition and install XP on it.

If I select "delete first partiton" and continue with formating this
partition during XP setup do my data on second partition stay intact?

If not how do I format or totaly clean up the first partiton and keep
the second partition intact?

Both partitions are NTFS.

Thanks!

Your data on the second partition will remain intact, but any applications
needed to access the data will need to be reinstalled.
Make sure you delete the correct partition.

Boot from the CD and do a clean install.
