XP installation problems

Russell Timmons

I'm trying to upgrade to windows xp from windows ME. When
I try, it says I have hardware compatibility problems.
Namely, it says: 1) Display Adapters - NVIDIA GeForce4
MX 440 with AGP8X; 2) Parallel Scanner Enumerator 3)
Printers - Intuit Internal Printer; 4) Universal Serial
Bus controllers - VIA USB Enhanced Host Controller.

What do I need to do. Is it even worth updating? I'm not
happy with ME, but I don't know if it is worth updating if
it is not compatible.

Please Help!

Thank you

Russell, remove all of your computer peripherals. Install WinXP just
with the basics. CPU, Ram, Video Card and Monitor.
After, you can reinstall them all provided you can find XP drivers for
them or they are built into WinXP.
For your Nvidia Geforce4, go into the Bios and make sure the
AGP setting is 4X or 2X. Your welcome to
e-mail me or post your Printer and Scanner Make and Model # . I will
check to see if they will work with XP or not.
