I purchased a Hewlett Packard Pavilion desktop PC with
Windows XP Home Edition preinstalled. I registered my copy
of Windows XP with Microsoft. I want to replace the
motherboard and will need that CD to boot from.

Where can I get the Installation CD for my registered
version?

Go back to your supplier and ask them for the disk they should have given
you when you bought the system.

The six diskettes allow an XP CD to be used on a system that can't boot from
CD.. the OP will still need an XP CD..
