XP in multiple domains

Back in the days of NT4 when I was first learning this
stuff, I ran into computers that were members of multiple
domains. When logging on, one would select the desired
domain from a list of many.

Is this still possible with XP? I have a small lab and
could conceivably set it up to try it, but it would be a
whole lot easier if someone knew the answer.

Thanks in advance

It's a user who can have an account in multiple domains, but a workstation
can be a member of one domain only. Drop-down domain list has been confusing
unconcerned users for ages, but this list exists only in case of established
trust relationships.

Those other domains were "trusted domains" (in the drop-down list.)
Essentially the machine was a member of one domain (always) and because the
other domains were "trusted" by the first, they were also shown in the list.

The information is provided "as is", it is suggested you research for
yourself before you take any advice - you are the one ultimately

getting into before you jump in with both feet.
