xp in continuous reboot

After installing XP Professional on my computer, once I
restart my computer it will continuously reboot once it
reaches the "loading XP" screen. I have tried to reboot
in Safe mode and all other options under the Safe Mode
screen. No matter what I try it continues to restart once
it reaches the loading screen. I would be willing to
uninstall XP and go back to ME if I could at least
accomplish this without losing all of my past data.
Please help!!!!

Do a repair install, it seems like you have a corrupted boot.ini file:
