SP1 Continual Reboots

Hello, I need to know why my computer continually
rebooted after the welcome screen, after I installed
WinXP SP1. I then used safe mode to access system
restore to restore my computer back to before I installed
SP1. No reboots after I restored the system. Can anyone
tell how I can fix this so I can install SP1 with out any
continual reboots? THANK YOU
 
Use system restore to bring it back to current time. Then
use add/remove programs in the control panel to remove SP1
assuming you backed up your current configuration.
