XP image ?

I use Image For Windows to image my C:drive and Program files. I have only a
few programs in Program Files and the majority are on D:drive.I do this to
keep my imaging needs small since my laptop can only burn cds. My question is
if i were to experience a problem and need to use my Image For Windows image
to reinstall Xp would that adversely affect the programs on D:drive. I>E>
they would no longer work and would i lose My Documents which are also kept
on D: drive. I don't think i would because the image is an exact duplicate of
the Operating system, registry everything. Correct?

out what he means.
To answer your question, when you restore the image your c drive will be
identical to when you created the image for all used clusters.
If you installed new programs on d after the last image create, the
restored registry will of course not reflect those changes. Some
programs may not care, if you've lost program shortcuts you can
re-create manually.

NOPE definitely meant NO and since the OP's post was quite incoherent,
it was in reply to:

Re-reading everything you probably are correct, not at all clear what he
is asking. My reply attempted to cover what he might have meant, but
probably a bad post on my part.
