XP & IE Security

I have XP Home Edition and my account is set as Computer
Administrator. I have only one other account, Guest, which
is disabled.

Each time I attempt to access Tools | Internet Options in
Internet Explorer 6, I receive the following message:

"This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in
effect on this computer. Please contact your system
administrator."

Any ideas how to correct this?

I have tried this but find nothing disabled to prevent
access to IEs options. Any advise?

Did you try Internet Control Panel? If the box for Remove Access to All
Internet Options is checked, uncheck it. If not, check it, then clear it
(uncheck the other boxes too) and click Apply.

Thank you. That did it. GREAT tool!

I read the option incorrectly and assumed it would remove
my ability to access the options if it was unchecked.
Hmmm. My brain must be paying me back for the ride I took
it on earier in life.
